We’ve found that within the complex area of generative AI, teams often struggle to generate high-quality ideas without getting overwhelmed by the generative clutter that AI can produce. The need for simple, effective solutions on how to use the technology without becoming overwhelmed is critical.
Our GenAI Ideation Workshops are designed to make generative AI accessible for teams and individuals, especially those new to the technology. By integrating AI into the ideation process, we aim to enhance creativity and problem-solving, helping participants make sense of complex challenges.
Combining AI with human creativity
These workshops focus on helping teams prepare for ideation sessions using AI, providing the structure needed to guide and refine ideas. We teach participants how to set clear goals and design prompts that help AI generate a broad range of ideas. At the same time, human oversight plays an important role, ensuring that AI outputs are reviewed and refined to align with the team’s vision.
A key part of the workshop is learning to design prompts, where participants experiment with AI to explore different possibilities. This process is similar to sketching out initial ideas that encourage creativity and collaboration. By working together, the team reviews and improves AI-generated suggestions, blending human creativity with AI’s ability to produce a wide range of ideas.
Improving workflow and reducing time pressure
Our workshops also show how AI can assist with routine tasks, saving time and allowing staff to focus on higher-value activities. For example, AI can help with tasks such as building interview guides, summarising discussions, or scanning databases for insights. This frees up time for teams to focus on essential human tasks like building consensus or working with other departments, enhancing both the quality and speed of their work.
While AI takes care of repetitive tasks, the workshops emphasise the importance of human skills in areas like team collaboration, co-creating and working across teams. Our aim is to help teams use AI as a supportive tool that enhances, rather than replaces, their unique contributions.
Ethical considerations and accessibility We also ensure that teams are well-informed about the ethical considerations that come with using AI. Discussions around bias, transparency, and intellectual property are included to help teams use AI responsibly. Data privacy and security are prioritised, with clear guidelines provided to ensure the use of AI complies with the relevant regulations.
Accessibility is a key aspect of our workshops. We aim to ensure that everyone, regardless of their technical background, can engage with AI. We also address questions about access to the necessary software and make sure the learning experience is inclusive for all team members.
By helping teams create, select, and prioritise ideas effectively, our workshops make AI accessible and useful for solving real-world challenges, offering a balanced approach that enhances both productivity and creativity.
